Yesterday I was running on a ridiculously low level of energy. No amount of lattes/airborne/vitamins/powerhouse foods would have picked me up. I needed to actually let myself get some good old fashioned rest, i.e. sleep & no exercise. I
caved got exercise guilt and eventually did 80 lunges right before diving in to bed early on Friday night. Yes, I am the life of the party. Yes, I feel FANTASTIC today because of it and am off to do some yoga and run 8 miles.
It’s proof that sometimes we just need to let ourselves take a rest day - trust me, your body will thank you for it. I’m not sure Airborne will solve all your problems….
